French Toast

My introduction to French toast with cinnamon and vanilla and fresh fruit. When I was young, my mom would make French Toast, but it was plain eggs and bread.

It’s not what you’re thinking though. The bottle of Crown Royal is filled with real maple syrup. Not whiskey((Coincidentally enough though, both liquids are Canadian icons.)).

God, it’s nice to have someone cook for you in your own home.

  1. 2 pieces of bacon!? 2!? What the hell is wrong with you!? :-)

    • Well I usually only defrost one portion of bacon by taking it out the night before, for each day of the weekend. This time I had to share my portion in return for breakfast cooked for me, lest I wait for more bacon to defrost (which seems like an eternity). It was a fair trade. :)

  2. You’ve got to check out proatcooking.com. There’s a few things in your video that reminds me of that site a little too much.

    • The Eggplant Parmesan video is HILARIOUS! I didn’t expect that at all. And his redheaded assistant is yummy too.

      • Hush man! Your girl may read this, and become very jealous of the red-head. Besides, as cute as the red-is, I thing the blond assistant is cuter.

      • Hahah…she knows I have a thing for redheads. And don’t get me wrong, the other assistants are outrageously cute too, but old habits (and tastes in women) are hard to break.

  3. I’m such an American. I was enjoying all the yummy anticipation and then.… what??? no coffee???

    • The fact that you know how much of an American you are makes you much less of an American than the average American. Make sense?

I had to give up coffee due to my anxiety. I’ve switched to tea. One day, when my stomach can handle it, I know I’ll be having a decaf every now and then.

  4. yummy!! This made me so hungry. It was a nice glimpse into an intimate moment.
