I don’t know why no one has solicited you to make commercials (not that I think that would be an illustrious end at all) or at least food mags — you could outdo most of what I see around. Your pics & vids always make me wish I were there.
Well, I did get that one contract for the wine reviewer’s website, and I’m hoping to do more video work in the future. Making the audience wish they were sharing the same experiences is exactly what I’m going for, so thank you.
What a great video! Does it take you a long time to put all that together? I just know I feel sorry for the guys who have to cut my interviews because there’s so much content to go through and takes, hehe.
To be honest, I don’t remember how long it took me to put it together. Most of it was done I’d say in about 6&endash;8 hours. But I spent the same amount of time trying to (unsuccessfully) convert it to 24p.
It’s definitely hard to cut stuff down, especially when there are so many special moments. I had to take out a lot of the kids when they were opening their presents, even though I wanted to keep all those memories, just to make sure the storytelling was balanced.
