I caught Dolly daintily dabbing her paw in her water bowl and licking her paw today. I think she just likes drinking without sticking her head in something.

Ever since I came back on the weekend, when Dolly was home all alone, she’s been especially affectionate to me. Before she would sleep on my chair at night, but now she tries to sleep on my pillow by leaning on my head, or crawl under the covers to sleep on my chest. Even though I keep getting woken up, I hope she keeps it up.

Went to Tom and Mel’s pot luck yesterday, which ended up being a fun way to end an otherwise very long day. I had the chance to use their miniature zen garden, and my god was it relaxing. There must be something in the sand or something. I’d definitely consider getting one now if I ever found out what makes it so relaxing, but I’d be scared of Dolores pooing in it.

Dolly always likes to have her own chair. She gets so involved with her sleeping that she gets into all sorts of positions without opening her eyes. Sometimes I catch her rolling her fat ass right off the chair, then give a shake of her head when she realizes what just happened.
