Me: I’ll probably get another cat when I get back. Not before January though.
-
John: NOO.
-
Me: Why not?
-
John: Cause then you’ll be a crazy cat person.
-
Me: Three would be borderline for a single person, four would be definite. But I’ll only have two anyway.
-
John: Why do you want another?
-
Me: It’s not like I have anyone in my life right now. Cats fill that void. They make good company.
-
Me: Okay, maybe I’m already a crazy cat person.
-
John: I’m glad you’ve started listening to yourself when you talk.
But Dolly needs a friend/baby!!!
Screw Dolly, I’m the one who needs a companion!
I just started letting my cat roam outside.
Really? But Lethe is so small and delicate. Do you keep her controlled? I’d only let my cat out on her own if she was fitter and more energetic.
I gave her a collar with a magnet on it. It opens her cat door. (Spend a week teaching her how to open the door)
The first few weeks was under my watch so I know she won’t get lost. Then, one day, I just opened the cat door and started playing new vegas so I don’t spend time worrying.
The one thing I am satisfied with is that she hasn’t gotten wilder (we’ll see), nor is she waking me up at 5am in the morning to let her out.
You should try attaching a camera with an intervalometer to her collar so you can see where she goes.
