@Pearl — A whole weekend of haikus? And haikus are only 18 syllables long...must make for a very diverse set of poems.

@loo — I don't think I've ever seen that fountain in all my years here. Then again, there's a lot of Ottawa I haven't seen yet. I'll be sure to check it out the next time I'm in the area (and bring my camera).

@Lucy — Actually, I'm not into body art so much. Tattoos for me are more reminders than expressions of myself. Not that I don't appreciate them on other people (even though I find there are more stupid than decent ones out there).

Three years is quite a long time in making a decision, longer than it took me, and I thought I waited forever! You'll have to send me a picture. I'm curious to see the results of such a heavy decision.

Tattoo appointment? Interesting.....somehow I didn't think you would be the type to venture into the world of body art. It took me three years to finally decide to get inked and when I did the adrenaline rush I got was awesome!

That last photo makes me miss my condo in the market SO much; the walks after work( with good music to drown out the vagrants) and early saturday morning walks for fresh fruit and veg. Mmmm and it makes me miss the spider roll and edamame at Kinky.

Check out my favorite fountain if you have time, it was a little bit of a walk from my place on Clarence, but so worth the little trek. If you drive down Laurier heading east past King Edward, to the end where it bends towards the left and turns into Charlotte (you'll notice the Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts Institute on the left and the most spectacular fountain in the city on the right. Go at night, they light it up beautifully. I think its in a park called Strathcona Park.

Not that you need anything more to keep you busy.

I'm grateful for the swing into the gap this time. I need to rest up before Haiku Canada weekend at Carleton U.
