Jeff:

If these guys don't give you the respect you deserve, they are not worthy of your business. I'm 33 years old and I sell copiers for a living. I worked for 17 years in the restaurant business and never considered myself a salesman.

The key to successful selling is listening and building relationships. Speaking the same language as customers and knowing when to shut up.

Inexperienced salespeople can be a thorn in the side because they see the customer as an obstacle or enemy.

I hope by now you have made a good decision for your printing needs and are comfortable with your chosen vendor. We are not all smoke and mirrors. At my company we belive we would rather not have a customer than have a dissatisfied customer or make someone feel uncomfortable. That is why we are the fastest growing company in our area and our customers refer us to their friends.

I feel your pain and hope you are making out well.
